Delete Your Account

1. Log in to BharosaChat (app or bharosachat.com). If you logged in more than a few minutes ago, log out and log in again first — deletion needs a fresh login for security.
2. Open the Profile tab and scroll to the bottom.
3. Tap Delete Account, type DELETE in the box, and confirm.

Your business profile, all customer chats, and your login are removed immediately.

If you cannot log in, or you would rather we do it for you, email bharosachat@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my BharosaChat account". Send it from the email address you registered with, or include the mobile number you used for OTP login, plus your business name so we can find the right account.

We will confirm and delete the account within 7 working days, and email you when it is done.

What gets deleted

• Your login (email/password or phone number)
• Your business profile: name, type, city, address, phone, description, services and prices, FAQs, working hours
• Every customer chat message and AI reply under your chatbot link
• Your plan status and usage counters

Your chatbot link stops working as soon as the account is deleted.

What we keep, and for how long

• Payment records (Razorpay payment ID, amount, date, plan bought and the email address used to pay) are kept for accounting and tax compliance, as required by Indian law. They do not include your card or bank details, which we never had.
• A usage count (how many AI messages and menu imports the account used — an account ID and numbers only, no personal details) is kept for abuse prevention and removed in a periodic clean-up after the account is deleted.
• Support emails you sent us stay in our mailbox unless you ask us to remove them.
• Backups that may contain your data are overwritten within 30 days, matching our Privacy Policy.

Delete only some data instead?

You can edit or remove individual business details anytime from Profile → Edit Business Info. To clear your customer chat history without closing the account, email us at bharosachat@gmail.com.

Customers who chatted with your business can also ask us to delete their messages by emailing the same address.
